10.4.2.6 Cytocarriage Disposal

Unwanted bacterial or other motile cells may be piloted to natural disposal sites in the human body via cytocarriage (Section 9.4.7), a potentially efficient pathogen-clearing technique that is elaborated in greater detail in Volume IIB.
